Cancellation Policy
At Sheppey Stays, we understand that plans can change, and you may need to cancel your booking. Below is our cancellation policy to ensure transparency and clarity.
1. Cancellation Timeframes and Charges
1.1 Cancellations made 120 days or more before the arrival date will incur a cancellation fee equal to 20% of the total booking fee. All other payments made will be refunded.
1.2 Cancellations made less than 120 days before the arrival date are non-refundable. Unfortunately, in these instances, we are unable to offer any refunds as it may not be possible to rebook the property at short notice.
2. No-Shows and Early Departures
2.1 If you fail to arrive on the specified check-in date without prior notification (no-show), no refund will be issued, and the total booking fee will be retained.
2.2 If you choose to leave the property before the scheduled departure date, no refunds will be provided for any unused portion of the stay.
3. Refund Process
All refunds, where applicable, will be processed within 30 business days from the date of cancellation confirmation. The refund will be issued using the original method of payment unless otherwise agreed.
4. Force Majeure
In the event of extraordinary circumstances beyond our control (e.g., acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, etc.), we reserve the right to modify the cancellation policy to address the situation appropriately. In such cases, we will do our best to offer flexible rebooking options.
